Outpulse can send you real-time notifications when a high-fit lead is discovered, so you can act on hot prospects without watching the leads page constantly.
Go to Settings → Notifications to configure.
Slack webhook

Setting up a Slack webhook
- In Slack, go to Your workspace → Settings → Integrations → Incoming Webhooks
- Click Add new webhook to workspace
- Select the channel you want to receive alerts in
- Copy the webhook URL
- Paste it into Settings → Notifications → Slack webhook URL in Outpulse
- Click Save

To test the connection, click Send test notification after saving.
Each alert includes:
- The monitor that surfaced the lead
- The author’s X handle and follower count
- The AI fit score and the reason
- A direct link to the lead in Outpulse
Removing a webhook
Clear the webhook URL field and save to stop Slack notifications.
Alert threshold
The alert threshold controls the minimum AI fit score required to trigger a notification. Lower-scored leads are still saved on the Leads page but won’t send an alert.
Default: 8
Raise this if you’re getting too many Slack notifications. Lower it if you want to be alerted about more leads.
Set your alert threshold 1-2 points above your campaign import threshold.
Only the strongest fits ping you immediately — you can browse the rest
on the Leads page at your convenience.
Email notifications
Email digests are sent weekly with a summary of:
- Leads found
- Drafts generated and DMs sent
- Outbound tracker activity
- Credit usage
You can’t configure the email digest frequency — it’s weekly. To stop receiving it, unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of the email.
