Generating drafts
From a campaign’s detail page:- Generate Drafts (n) in the header bulk-drafts every
pendinglead (up to 100 per request — the UI batches if needed) - Generate Draft on any individual lead card drafts that single lead
Reviewing a draft
Read the draft carefully before sending. Good drafts:- Sound like something you’d actually write
- Reference specifics from the lead’s bio or context
- Open a conversation rather than make a hard pitch
- Stay an appropriate length (X DMs are plain text up to 10,000 characters)
Editing a draft
Click Edit on any drafted lead’s card to open the inline editor. The editor has a quick-emoji picker and a character counter. Saving updates the draft in place. X DMs are plain text: emojis, line breaks, and links work; bold/italic formatting is stripped on send.Regenerating a draft
Click Regenerate on any drafted lead’s card. The draft is replaced with a fresh attempt that uses the latest workspace ICP, tone profile, and campaign context. Regenerating costs the same 0.25 credits as the initial generation — each regeneration is a fresh AI call.If you change your Campaign Context mid-batch, existing drafts don’t
update automatically. Use Regenerate on the leads you want to refresh.
Campaign context
The Context button at the top of a campaign opens a 2,000-character guidance field. Use it to override workspace-level framing for this specific campaign — for example, “skip the demo offer, drop a Loom link instead.” Context is included in every draft for this campaign going forward. → Campaigns: campaign contextEdit-and-learn
Outpulse tracks every edit you make to a draft. Over time, the AI uses these patterns to improve your tone profile — consistently shorter sentences, removed phrases, different opening styles all feed back in. After a few weeks of use, you’ll find yourself editing less and less. This happens passively. No configuration required.Draft quality checklist
Before clicking Send, ask:- Does it sound like me?
- Is it specific to this lead, not generic?
- Does it invite a response rather than close the conversation?
- Is it the right length?
- Would I be proud to send it?
